Art and Design is a peer-reviewed open-access journal that publishes original empirical, theoretical and review articles.

The journal covers a wide range of socio-humanitarian and cultural studies issues related to:

  • art studies and design methodology;
  • the history, theory and practice of design;
  • artistic and project culture;
  • stylistics and artistic-expressive means of design activity;
  • contemporary concepts and trends in various fields of design.

Accreditation Status According to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine

The journal is included in category “B” of the List of scientific professional publications of Ukraine, in which the results of dissertations for the degree of doctor and candidate of technical sciences can be published in the following specialties (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1218 dated 07.11.2017): 0212 - Fashion, interior and industrial design; 0213 - Fine arts; 0788 - Inter-disciplinary programmes and qualifications involving engineering, manufacturing and construction; 0723 - Textiles (clothes, footwear and leather).
